Ballymahon’s Shirley Maloney is only the second female in the history of the Community Games organisation to hold the position of National Secretary

Past and present Ballymahon Forgney Community Games committee members held an appreciation night to express their gratitude to Shirley Maloney who has been an amazing volunteer & driving force within Community Games for almost two decades.

During that time she has held many instrumental roles on local, county and national Community Games committees.

Her dedication and enthusiasm has resulted in so many children within the Ballymahon and Forgney areas enjoying the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sporting & cultural activities.

Ballymahon Forgney Community Games are deeply grateful to Shirley for her invaluable stellar work and passionate commitment.
