Granard’s Stephen Garland brings his show ‘The Best of Us’ to local audience
Longford man who was six months from a wheelchair is planning to climb Benbulben this weekend
Stephen Garland will appear in Lus na Gréine Granard Thursday, September 19 as a part of a build up to his latest project to do a Charity Climb of Benbulben, Co Sligo in aid of a Therapy Centre in Sligo who he says have been so good to him over the years.
Stephen explained, “Somehow I am feeling strong enough to give it a go but I also got my little theatre show accepted to Sligo Culture Night on Friday, November 20 so I thought why not warm up for everything with a show in Granard."
'The Best of Us' brings the audience on an inspiring journey through comedy, storytelling, and live podcast.
From battling a ‘no treatment, no cure’ diagnosis and advocating for plant medicines to running for MNW MEP to climbing Benbulben, the Show concludes with an interactive Q&A.
Commencing at 7.30pm, September 19, 'The Best of Us' promises an evening of laughter, enlightenment, and empowerment that is not to be missed.
