Inspired by first Pride celebration Longford gets ready for TuesGays
Organised by new LGBTQA+ social group, Hazy Rainbow, TuesGays is a series of fun meet ups
Inspired by the massive success of Longford’s very first Pride celebration earlier this year, a new LGBTQA+ social group, Hazy Rainbow, has been founded to stage regular social events for the community, in and around the town.
Starting from September, the first Tuesday of every month will be TuesGays – a series of casual social activities and fun meet ups, organised by Hazy Rainbow for LGBTQ+ and allies to have fun and get to know each other better.
Their first event will be “However You Roll” Boardgame Night, taking place on Tuesday, September 3 in the Longford Arms Hotel, from 7pm to 10pm.
It will be an easygoing event for anyone who wants to play, learn to play, or even just to hang out with a cup of tea or coffee.
A wide selection of games for all levels of skill and seriousness - from Pandemic and Catan to Guess Who and Hungry Hungry Hippos - will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own boardgame and round up some new rivals too!
There will be a small cover charge of €2 towards costs, and do please note this is an 18+ event.
