Ireland Is and The Ballad of Mossy Flood at Longford's Backstage Theatre
Backstage Theatre Longford will host an evening of spoken word and live music on Sunday, October 1 at 8pm as part of a Poetry Ireland tour.
‘Ireland Is’ will shine a light on the multifaceted and contradictory Ireland of today.
The evening will feature a line-up of acclaimed poets, including Longford’s own Felispeaks, Colm Keegan, Hollie McNish, Danez Smith, and Erin Fornoff, as well as a special guest performance by singer-songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson alias SOAK.
Meanwhile, Mossy Flood returns to Backstage Theatre on Wednesday, October 4 at 8pm.
The Ballad of Mossy Flood is Seamus O’Rourke at his very best. He will always land on his feet (or at least somewhere near his feet)… because he is Mossy Flood… and he’s from Longford.
Tickets available for both events on 043 33 47888 or backstage.ie
