A Longford man has been named among“ones to watch” in a high profile end of year list acknowledgement of emerging businesses.

The annual Sunday Independent 30 under 30 showcases talented and innovative young business people.

It recognises the ideas and emerging business minds that will shape Ireland's future economy.

Among the names on the list is one Longford man, Peadar Kenny. Peadar, from Longford Town, along with Adam Farrell from Ballyleague, Roscommon and Liam Junkermann from Connecticut in the US attends Trinity Business School, Dublin. Adam studies Business Studies and French, Peadar's focus is on Computer Science and Business and Liam is studying Computer Science.

The young business innovator told the Leader about hearing he was on the list: “The Irish Independent reached out to us to notify us we were selected for this years list. We attended a photoshoot in Ranelagh where we got to meet the rest of the cohort. After that they sent us a short questionnaire for info that they could use in the article.”

The inclusion tops off a good year for the emerging company: “Our inclusion on the 30 under 30 list this year caps off what has been a phenomenal year for us at Imprint.

From winning Trinity's Dragons den in February to our time in Tangents LaunchBox over the summer our first full time year working on the company has proven incredibly fruitful for us both personally and as a company.”

Peadar says the future of the business looks positive: “2023 is already lining up to be busier than this year for us and we are incredibly excited about what is to come”.
