Councillors paid a mark of respect to Kevin 'Bunty' Dempsey, by suspending orders at the January meeting
Granard Municipal District members acknowledged the death of Kevin 'Bunty' Dempsey, by suspending orders at the January meeting of the authority as a mark of respect to the former Longford County Council worker.
Kevin, of St Brigid's Terrace, Longford town passed away on Wednesday, January 15. Through his work with Longford County Council and his association with Longford Greyhound Stadium, 'Bunty' was much loved and respected.
The Granard Municipal District members paid tributes to the popular former local authority worker before adjourning the meeting for 10 minutes.
