Longford District court: Tried to use stolen Revolut card

Defendant facing 22 charges before Longford District Court
A man with a long list of charges, including theft, assault and public order, has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear on May 5 next.
Eugene Dunne (39), of 8 Alderfield, Farnagh, Longford, was facing 22 charges when he appeared before Longford District Court last week, as well as new charges that were put to him before court. Judge Bernadette Owens heard that disclosure is outstanding in a number of matters, including the new charges.
The court heard that, in addition to the charges before the court, Mr Dunne was charged with attempting to carry out an unauthorised transaction on a Revolut card on January 14.
The card had been reported stolen the previous day and the injured party was notified that a €7 transaction had been declined at a local public house.
Judge Owens accepted jurisdiction on all charges and remanded Mr Dunne in custody to May 7, next.
