Longford Gardaí issue appeal for information

Gardaí have issued an appeal for anyone with information on a fire in Longford town on Sunday morning to come forward.
Main Street access to the Townspark car park continues to be restricted as engineers from Longford County Council assess the site.
No injuries were reported in the wake of the inferno that engulfed the Grafton Court building.
Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise Dara Calleary is due to meet with affected business owners and members of Longford County Council today, (Wednesday).
The scene has been preserved to facilitate forensic and technical examinations.
A Garda statement to the Leader said: “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area between 12:00am midnight and 2:00am are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 335 0570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing.”
