Sadly we record the death of Kathleen Forbes of Derry, Ballymahon who passed away in her eighty eight year on Wednesday, March 27 last.

Kathleen was formerly Kathleen Burke of Ballyglunin, Co Galway.

Kathleen was a very popular, outgoing lady and made many friends in the greater Ballymahon area since she came to live in Derry with her late husband Billy over sixty years ago.

She was an active member of the Leo Casey History Group for many years until recently.

We offer our sincere sympathy to her sons Billy and Robert, daughters Anne, Helen and Nuala, her daughter in law Helen, all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours.
