Longford Ukrainian Concert raise €3,320 for Irish Red Cross

Longford's Backstage Theatre was the venue for a special fundraising concert for our friends from Ukraine on Wednesday, December 7.

The concert was the brainchild of 20 year old Ukrainian student Maria Khaleeva and supported by musicians Paul Gurney and Charlie McGettigan.

The concert was a blend of the best of Longford's music community and Ukrainian musicians living in the midlands.

Huge thanks to everyone associated with the concert who volunteered their time.

And a special thanks to Backstage Theatre and Longford County Council who supported the project.

All funds raised - €3,320 - go to the Irish Red Cross to help with the Ukrainian crisis. See longfordlive.ie for more concert pictures
