Longford-Westmeath Sinn Féin appoints Barry Campion as new chairperson
Mr Campion contested the 2024 general election on the Sinn Féin ticket alongside Sorca Clarke TD
The Sinn Féin Comhairle Ceantair for Longford-Westmeath has appointed Barry Campion as Cathaoirleach. Mr Campion succeeds Johnnie Creagh, who will remain on the board as Leas Cathaoirleach.
Mr Campion is known in the Longford-Westmeath constituency for his activism on progressive issues and as the second Sinn Féin candidate in the 2024 General Election alongside Sorca Clarke.
