The Peter Keenan ONE (Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen and Women) Branch today held its annual fuchsia collection outside Tesco in Longford Shopping Centre.

The aim of the Fuchsia collection is to raise funds to help support the provision of homes, and other services for veterans.

The branch thanked local shoppers for their generosity and support and expressed its gratitude to Tesco for allowing its volunteers to use the facility for its fundraiser.

A special word of thanks was also extended to the volunteers who gave their time to carry out the collection.

“Not all volunteers appear in the photographs, as some were camera shy,” the branch said.

The charity operates on a not-for-profit basis and collects vital funds through a subscription basis which you can sign up for HERE.
