Man remanded in custody after appearing in Longford court
A defendant waiting on the direction of the Director Of Public Prosecution will return before court early in September.
Jason Marshall (26) of 149 Dalton Park, Mullingar faced two charges.
The defendant is charged with driving a vehicle without consent of owner on June 13, 2023 at Alan Bardon Motors Patrick Street Mullingar and of taking possession of a red quad bike without the consent of owner on the same date at Hopestown, Ballina, Mullingar.
Judge Patricia Cronin was told that the defendant was in custody on the matter and that Judge Bernadette Owens had refused jurisdiction. The defendant consented to have the matter adjourned to September 7 for DPP directions.
Judge Cronin remanded Mr Marshall in custody to September 7 at which time he will appear before the court via video link.
