Operation Blue Light Prankster will be officially launched in Ballymahon on Sunday
Garda Anthony Scanlon and Sergeant James Rowan of Longford Community Policing Unit joined Garda Emma Kiernan and Blue Light Santa author Jessica Thompson in Emerald Park on Saturday for the annual Little Blue Heroes Christmas party.
The team sold approximately 300 books, all in aid of the Little Blue Heroes Foundation. Even Commissioner Drew Harris purchased a copy - signed by the author.
This year's book is called Operation Blue Light Prankster and will be officially launched on Sunday, December 1st, at Bridgeways Family Resource Centre in Ballymahon.

Members of the public are invited to come along between 4pm and 6pm on that day to purchase a copy of this year's book, or the previous books. The author and illustrator will both be available to sign copies, and Blue Santa himself will be there to greet the children and get photos taken.
Operation Blue Light Prankster and Operation Blue Light Heroes will be available to purchase from Newsround this week, retailing at €10 each, with all proceeds going to the Little Blue Heroes Foundation.
