Pension Plan comes to Longford's Backstage Theatre

Backstage audiences are getting set to welcome one of the favourite neighbours as a brand new play from comedy king, John McDwyer, comes to town.

'Pension Plan' follows the Flanagan brothers, a pair of bachelors who live a life of peaceful contentment on their hillside farm, bothered only the persistent efforts of their spinster neighbour, Ann Catherine, to marry either or both of them.

Their tranquil existence is disturbed by a visiting stranger who brings news that threatens to turn their world upside down. Salvation may come from an unlikely source but at what price?

The playwright directs Barry Deignan, Gerry Farrell, Pat Feeley and Valerie Traynor in an evening of madcap fun. A guaranteed Beezneez ‘Good Night Out’!

The play will be staged on Thursday, July 13 at 8pm

Tickets for Pension Plan from Beezneez at Backstage Theatre Longford and are priced at €18/16 and are available on 043 3347888 or backstage.ie.
