Attendance and engagement was high, providing those representing services with an opportunity to talk about who they are and what they do. The event also included round table discussions on challenges and future opportunities to work together. After the event, Mary Murtagh, Development Manager with Longford CIS, commented, “we are delighted with the opportunity to meet like-minded service providers in the sector in a space where services can strengthen communication pathways and explore collaboration opportunities. We feel this happened last Wednesday and we look forward to building on the success with future networking events.” Citizens Information Centres are funded by the Citizens Information Board.
