The North Central Chapter of Freewheelers MC Ireland held a fundraiser in memory of the late Billy ‘The Barber’ Beahan, who passed away after a battle with cancer on October 12 last year. During his life, Billy did a lot for local charities. He was a volunteer for Bethany House women’s refuge and did a lot of fundraising including starting the Midlands Toy Run, along with his friend Frank Kane, which has taken place for the last 16 years. Frank explained, “In Billy's memory Freewheelers motorcycle club held a charity motorcycle run and rock night on Saturday, October 7 in the Longford Arms Hotel. The entry fee was €10 for the run and €10 for the rock night with all money raised being split between Longford Hospice Homecare and the Friends of the Regional Hospital, Tullamore.” Longford Leader / Longford Live photographer Shelley Corcoran dropped into the rock night event and captured these photos and we hope you enjoy them. And don't forget to tag and share with your friends!
