Mercy Ballymahon were delighted to welcome Tubberclair and Westmeath footballer Matthew Whittaker to the school on Tuesday, October 13 as he brought the Delaney Cup with him on his visit following Westmeath’s victory over Dublin last May.
Leinster SFC medal winner, Matthew, who has also been nominated for an All-Star, was very generous with his time, answering questions and taking photos with staff and students, both Westmeath and Longford GAA supporters.
Mercy Ballymahon are very grateful to Matthew for taking the time to visit our school and wish him all the best with his All-Star nomination.
