Longford town's magnificent ‘Glan agus Glas' themed St Patrick's Day Parade shone a light on sustainability and the event saw great crowds line the streets. MC for the parade was Benny O'Brien, with Eimear Reynolds opening proceedings with the national anthem and the parade grand marshals were the all conquering Longford Slashers ladies football side. This gallery of photos, captured by Longford Leader photographer Shelley Corcoran, gives you a taste of the wonderful atmosphere and we hope you enjoy them and don't forget to tag and share with your friends. Keep an eye out for more photos from the parades on LongfordLive.ie and in next Wednesday's print edition of the Longford Leader.
