Alternative Indie-rock band Indigos Ego are set to release their new single 'Following' next Friday, November 6th.

It is the fourth single off the band’s up-coming second album which is due for release later this year.

The popular Cavan rockers wowed the crowds at the Marquee in Drumlish in August with their energetic performance and their playlist and new track "Following" was well-received by an enthusiastic audience.

Drawing on inspiration from artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Tori Amos and Biffy Clyro, the four-piece band are following on from their debut album last year, 'Dark Waters'.

Lead singer Anne O'Reilly said: "The single explores the uncertainty of what lies ahead, while finding reassurance in the support of those around us.

"At its heart, the track is about relationships and shared experiences that bring us together, even for a finite time.

"Musically, the song carries a distinct post-rock energy, opening with atmospheric guitar that establishes a reflective mood.

"The band’s use of dual vocals adds depth, complementing the spacious instrumentation as the track builds.

"Ultimately, Indigos Ego delivers a thoughtful and emotive track that finds reassurance in togetherness."

'Following' will be available from all music platforms on Friday, November 6.
