Rich faith story of Longford parish through the generations highlighted in new book
Killashee & Clondra Parish - A History of Faith set to be launched on Friday night
A special service involving the Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland communities will take place in St Paul’s Church of Ireland, Killashee on Friday evening next, June 19 at 8pm.
The service will celebrate the shared Christian heritage of the parish and provide an opportunity for parishioners of both traditions to come together in prayer and fellowship.
Following the service, a new publication, Killashee & Clondra Parish - A History of Faith will be launched in the Chestnut Tree, Killashee.
The book traces the rich faith story of the parish through the generations, highlighting the people, places and events that have shaped religious life in the area.
All are warmly invited to attend both the service and the book launch.
