Teagasc Longford staff and local farmers raise funds for Midlands hospice project

Teagasc Longford staff and local farmers recently made a presentation to representatives from the Hooves 4 Hospice fundraising Project.
The Teagasc Office in Longford held a number of Agri-Environment Training Scheme courses last summer for farmers and every participating farmer made a donation to the charity.
The purpose of Hooves 4 Hospice fundraising project is to raise vital funds towards the cost of building the planned Midland Regional Hospice in Tullamore.
One thousand euros was raised for the project by Longford farmers. If you wish to donate to the charity you can get more information on their website www.h4h. midlandhospice.ie.
