Teagasc/FBD launch Environmental Sustainability Awards

Farming future is the focus of the farm awards programme as call out for Longford entrants
Are you interested in winning up to €10,000 while at the same time getting recognition for running your farm in a sustainable way? Teagasc and FBD have just launched a new Environmental Sustainability Awards Competition.
To be in with a chance you win you need to demonstrate the progress you are making in improving environmental sustainability, while continuing to produce high quality, nutritious food, in a profitable way.
There are two main aims to the awards: 1. To promote environmental sustainability on Irish farms; 2. To give recognition to the farmers that are making good progress in improving environmental sustainability on their farms. We hope that these Awards can help farmers, consumers and Irish citizens to be proud of the great work undertaken by Irish farmers.
