Lanesboro Triathlon Club is a vibrant community of over 150 members, spanning ages 8 to 70+, and they are passionate about supporting everyone, regardless of their ability.
Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or dreaming of representing Ireland on the world stage, you'll find a home with Lanesboro Triathlon Club. The club would love for you to join them for a trial training session – get in touch!
This race thrives thanks to the phenomenal backing of the Lanesboro, Ballyleague, and Cloontuskert communities.
It is their tireless support that transforms this event into a resounding success.
The remarkable mobilisation of up to 200 marshals each year is a testament to their commitment to ensuring a safe and exceptional experience for every athlete.
The race's significant progress and expansion are a direct result of the generous and ongoing support from sponsors.
Additionally, grants and LEADER funding provided by Longford Community Resources Limited have been essential. Without their collective assistance, the event would not have achieved its current level of success.
