ALERT: Burn risk prompts immediate recall of cooking pots bought by over large number of Irish consumers

The affected products are being recalled due to a faulty handle on the pots
Popular cooking pots bought by over a thousand Irish consumers are being recalled due to a major safety hazard.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Cascade Designs Inc. is recalling MSR Select Cooking Pots due to the risk of burning or scalds.
The pot handle can detach or become loose, posing a burn or scald risk to consumers from hot food and liquids spilling from the product.

There are approximately 1255 affected products in the Republic of Ireland sold from 2008 through February 2024.

Cascade Designs will provide a refund if requested.
