Take note of the weather forecast for Ireland for the coming week
The Met Eireann weather forecast for the coming week is in and there is no sign of summer making a return although there is one good day to look forward to.
According to Met Eireann, Ireland is in for more rain this week with windy weather also on the way this week. Met Eireann says the weather is going to be changeable and unsettled with possible flooding at times.
According to Met Eireann, Monday will be dry to begin across central and northern parts tomorrow, Monday, with variable cloud and sunshine. Mostly cloudy conditions further south, with outbreaks of rain pushing northwards affecting mainly Munster and Leinster. Largely dry conditions prevailing elsewhere, apart from a few showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, warmest in the north, with light to moderate easterly or variable winds.
Cloud and patchy rain and drizzle will gradually clear eastwards on Monday night. Clearer conditions with just the odd light shower will extend from the west and southwest. Temperatures not falling below 11 to 14 degrees with light to moderate northeasterly or variable winds, gradually backing northwesterly.
According to Met Eireann, Tuesday will be rather warm with a mix of cloud and sunshine. While there will be a lot of dry weather for most, showers will occur, but they'll be mostly light and well scattered. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees generally, a little cooler near Atlantic and northern coasts, in light to moderate westerly winds.
Tuesday night will be largely dry with clear spells and just the chance of the odd stray shower near western coasts. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light southwest or variable breezes.
The latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland says that current indications suggest that after a largely dry start with sunny spells, cloud will thicken from the southwest followed by outbreaks of rain, turning heavy at times with spot flooding possible. Turning breezy or windy too with fresh to strong southeasterly winds developing. A clearance to sunny spells and showers will follow in from the southwest later. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
According to Met Eireann, Thursday will be mostly cloudy in the north and northwest with spells of rain. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells and scattered showers. Breezy or windy at first with fresh and gusty westerly winds which will ease light to moderate later. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in the west and north.
According to Met Eireann, it will continue unsettled next Friday and through the weekend with spells of wet and windy weather interspersed with drier and brighter interludes.
