ALERT: This item is prohibited at Electric Picnic in Laois and will be confiscated if found

People are being warned not to bring single use vapes to the Electric Picnic as they will be confiscated if found. 

Single use vapes were banned from the event last year due to concerns about their environmental impact.

According to the organisers, single use disposable vapes are prohibited at Electric Picnic and will be confiscated. 

"Disposable vapes are made of a mixed compound of materials which make them very difficult to recycle and hazardous if not placed in the correct waste stream and can cause harm to the land and the animals that live at Stradbally Hall,” the Electric Picnic stated on social media.
