Annual Ecumenical Service to be held at Offaly cemetery on Sunday

THE annual Ecumenical service will be held at Liss cemetery, just outside Ballycumber, on Sunday next, July 30th at 2pm.

This cemetery has been beautifully maintained by volunteers for the last ten years. There are many very old headstones in this cemetery, the earliest visible date is 1767. Many graves are just marked with a large stone.

The service remembers those who have gone before us, from the Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland traditions.

All are welcome to join this celebration in word and song. You can be assured of a warm welcome, a message from the Bible and some light refreshments afterwards.
