Elderly man in the Midlands made threats to kill

The man appeared before Portlaoise District Court
An elderly man has admitted making threats to kill or cause serious harm in Laois.
William Bergin (78) of The Glebe, Coolrain admitted making the threats at Shanderry, Coolrain on February 8, 2022.
Judge Nicola Andrews said she would put the case back in order for a victim impact statement to be compiled.
