GoFundme for devastated family following loss of father and husband

THE friends and family of James Dooley, a talented hurler and beloved father and husband have set up a GoFundme page to help his devastated family through this most difficult time.
James, hurled for Drumcullen GAA. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, October 20.
A number of friends have now set up a GoFundme page to raise money for his wife Sharon and four young children Níadh, Culann, Saoirse and Iarlaith who are left behind.
A message on the GoFundme site states: ''We are devastated by the recent passing of beloved father and husband James Dooley. Over the past year, James bravely battled a rare and aggressive form of cancer with Sharon and their 4 young children by their side, aged between 3 and 9 years of age.
James had to down tools as a self-employed stonemason and in prioritising James’ care Sharon exhausted all of her available leave as a primary school teacher.
This Go Fund Me was set up by friends and family and will hopefully allow Sharon to take additional time off work to help their beautiful children navigate their life without James.''
It is hoped to raise €100,000 for the young family who have been left decimated by the loss of James who meant the world to them. For those who wish to contribute the link is https://gofund.me/d4b53e63
