Good news if it's your birthday this week at Offaly food and craft market

It's good news for people who share their birthday with a popular Offaly food and craft market this weekend.

Edenderry's Artisan Market and Food Fayre, which takes place every Saturday in the town, marks its second birthday this weekend and have a surprise planned for visitors.

They poated: "It's a pretty special market on Saturday if the weather stays safe enough for us to trade in.

"We will be celebrating our 2nd birthday and invite you all to attend and especially if you celebrate your birthday this weekend too.

"Whether it’s your 1st Birthday or 101st we invite you to blow out the candles with us and collect a small token gift from us to you!"

Trading from 11am-3pm in the O'Connell Square in Edenderry on Saturday.

They will be blowing out their candles at approx 2:30pm.

"Come join us," organisers said.
