Green light for glamping pods on site in Offaly

Offaly County Council has given the green light for four glamping pods on a site in Offaly.

Permission has been given to Kim Darby for the development at Togher, Croghan.

The plans include four glamping pods, a septic tank and associated site works.

Planning permission was granted with seven conditions attached including a stipulation that the maximum time allowed for guests to stay is not longer than 21 days.

Another condition states that if the glamping pods are unoccupied for a period exceeding two years, they are to be removed at the site owner's expense.
