Important public meeting in Tullamore housing estate on national school issues

Meeting takes place in the Arden View Community and Family Resource Centre on Wednesday evening at 6pm
A PUBLIC meeting for Arden View will be held on this Wednesday, May 13 at 6pm in the Community and Family Resource Centre.
A number of issues will be discussed including the safe route to school cycle scheme and the park and stride proposal for St Joseph’s NS.
“This will involve a proposal for parents to park and drop their children off in the GAA car park,” explained local independent councillor Sean O'Brien.
“The children will then walk along a new pathway to a school entrance at the rear of the school. This involves an agreement to transfer a piece of the green area to the GAA to allow an extension of the pitch,” he outlined.
“It is important that the residents of Arden View are fully aware of these proposals and have an opportunity to express their views on these proposals. Officials from the council and staff from the two schools in arden view will be present at the meeting.”
