Just chilling - Offaly election candidate hitting campaign trail to 'give people the scoop' in brilliant way

An Offaly General Election candidate is hitting the campaign trail to 'give people the scoop' in novel way on Saturday.

Fine Gael candidate John Clendennen will be travelling across the county in an ice-cream van on Saturday and is inviting people to come along and 'get the scoop' on local issues.

His journey will start in the playground in Moneygall at 10.45am and he will be in Emmet Square in Birr at 11.45am.

From there he will be at Moystown Cross at 12.40pm and then on Main Street in Ferbane at 1.10pm.

He finishes off his ice cool campaigning trip in Tullamore where he can be found in O'Connor Square at 2.10pm.
