Permission being sought to build 20 houses in Rhode
A MAJOR housing development is being planned for Rhode.
Offaly County Council is currently validating an application for permission to build 20 residential units.
The applicants are listed as Deirdre Mulvin and Anne Marie Kelleher (executors for the estate of the late Tony Mulvin) and they are seeking consent for a mix of different house types and maisonettes.
The plan is for two four-bed semi-detached two-storey houses, 12 three-bed semi-detached two-storey houses, a two-bed two-storey semi-detached house and a two-bed single storey semi-detached house.
There will also be a two-storey maisonette with two two-bed dwellings on the ground floor and two two-bed dwellings on the first floor.
