Man fined €400 for blocking entrance in Offaly

BLOCKING an entrance with a vehicle resulted in a man being fined €400 at Tullamore District Court.

Garda Jonathan Kelly summonsed Michael Peo Doyle (21), Drumbane, Birr for parking and causing obstruction to an exit or entrance at a premises on Main Street, Birr on October 27 last year.

Garda Kelly told Judge Andrew Cody that the vehicle was causing obstruction at the entrance to a number of apartments.

He said a fixed charge penalty notice had been issued but it had not been paid and he added that Mr Doyle had previous convictions under the Covid movement of persons regulations.
