Man hospitalised after late night assault in Offaly

A man was hospitalised following an assault on Connaught Street, Birr recently.

The incident happened at 11.15pm on Saturday November 19.

The man suffered facial injuries and he had to attend Tullamore Hospital.

The injuries were not very serious and he was released shortly afterwards from the hospital.
