McDonalds restaurant in Tullamore unveils plans for major development works

McDonalds restaurant in Tullamore has unveiled plans for major development works at its premises on the Church Road.

The development will consist of proposed external and internal modifications and upgrade works.

This will include internal alterations to the kitchen and dining area, new fire doors, new freezer/chiller area with an extension to provide a new dry store within the existing corral.

It will also include all associated alterations to facilitate all modifications and upgrade works.

The plans include a new window to the west elevation, a new wall and window to east elevation and new window shutters to the south elevation

There will also be upgrade works to the existing windows and doors including booth redecoration.

The plan also include improvements to the drive-thru lane including new signage and relocation of, and upgrade of, existing signage including sky sign, new dual ordering configuration with devices and bollards.

There are also plans for associated works to the site including new road markings, landscaping including outdoor furniture/seating area, additional bicycle parking, relocation and extension of existing remote bin store with new gates, new boundary treatments and lighting, and all associated works to facilitate the proposed development.

A planning application is set to be lodged with Offaly County Council.
