New glamping plan for Offaly site on Slieve Blooms

A NEW glamping and camping site could be on its way to the Slieve Blooms.

Slieve Bloom Escapes Ltd has served notice of its intention to apply for permission for a development at Pidgeonstown, which is between Cadamstown and Kinnitty.

The company, whose directors are Tom Ryan and Hilda Ryan, Kilcommon, Shinrone, will seek consent for glamping pods, a camping area, a service building, an entrance, parking and a wastewater treatment system.

A planning notice from Slieve Bloom Escapes Ltd has been published in the Tullamore Tribune and Midland Tribune.
