New link road opens to traffic in Tullamore but another road closes for works

A new link road has opened to traffic in Tullamore which it is hoped will help the flow of traffic through the town. 

The new link road from the bottom of the Tanyard through Roselawn and out on to High Street has opened.

The route is designed to relieve congestion around O'Connor Square.

A new road layout at the Tanyard from O'Connor Square to the car park is now underway

While this work is being completed, access to the Tanyard from O'Connor Square is closed.
