New Offaly drama group enjoy remarkable success with first play

THE Kinnitty Players produced their very first show recently and it proved to be a remarkable success.

The show, 'Separate Beds', written by Sam Cree, and directed by Roscrea native, Paul Spencer brought the house down over three packed nights at Kinnitty Community Centre. The cast, all first timers from the local area, have been rehearsing since late August with all the hard work and effort paying off with the feedback being overwhelmingly positive.

The Kinnitty Players would like to thank everyone who helped to produce the play, from their amazing director, Paul Spencer, the cast of actors, their tireless backstage crew, the many volunteers, their sponsors, and of course everyone who attended the play over the three nights.

They are already looking forward to 2023 and you can stay tuned to their Facebook page at facebook.com/kinnittyplayers for updates.
