Offaly SPCA has been forced to close its doors to taking in cats and kittens due to a lack of foster homes for them.
“We are sorry to say we have to close our doors to taking cats and kittens in. We just don’t have enough foster homes to care for these poor animals,” the Offaly animal charity outined in a social media post.
They have urged anyone who can help to foster to please private message them with your details.
“And if you can’t foster please share and share and share [information about fostering] in Offaly,” the post added.
The Offaly SPCA says it has a number of beautiful kittens that are ready for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting them then contact 0860222432 or PM your phone number.
Anyone wishing to adopt a kitten also needs to fill out application on the Offaly SPCA website.
