Following Offaly's stunning win over Wexford, comedian Neil Delamere couldn't resist the chance to support his native county by posting it in vowels and consonants on the iconic Countdown board.

He recently shared on social media that he is back "doing Dictionary Corner on this legendary show with the soundest crew around".

And when Offaly won the Leinster U20 title thanks to a sensational performance against Wexford, despite being reduced to 14 men, he took the opportunity to celebrate his native county.

And not just in any way but as Gaeilge, by posting Uibh Fhaili on the famous board when he was left alone in the studio.

Shane and Brendan Lowry also celebrated Offaly's win ahead of the PGA Championship in Rochester, New York.

And Shane broke out the hurl while early morning frost delayed the start of Round 1
