Darts players from the Midlands are in Milton Keynes this week battling it out at Q School in an attempt to earn their PDC tour cards.

Stephen Rosney, who is from Nenagh but competes in and for Offaly darts came through his side of the draw finishing in the top 16 on Tuesday which sees him progress to the next stage in his bid to earn a PDC tour card.

Ferbane native Ronan McDonagh, who now lives in Cloghan, has also impressed as he also progressed from his side of the draw on Wednesday finishing amongst the top 16.

His strong displays have kept his hopes of earning a PDC tour card alive as he enters the final stage of the tournament.

Both Rosney and McDonagh will now join Borrisokane native and fellow Offaly Darts Sensation Dylan Slevin along with other players in the final stage which starts on Thursday where 13-14 tour cards will be on offer.

This stage sees 128 players battle it out each day in a knockout tournament, with the final two players each day earning a tour card.
