The 'Rights Don't Get Old Garden' at Riada House in Tullamore was created in 2022 by Brian White to promote World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
The purpose of this day is to promote a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons by raising awareness.
The theme for 2023 is “Hear Me, Support Me, Challenge Elder Abuse”.
Pictured at the garden are Bernie Malone, Activities Co-ordinator, Debbie Bryan, CNM 2, Brian White, Caretaker and Karen Brennan, HCA with kneeling in front Jolanta Urboniene and Majella McNair.
