Offaly pub picks up award from top website

TULLAMORE pub Fergie's has been named Best Sport Bar in the town by a top hospitality website.

Restaurant Guru awarded Fergie's bar and lounge a Recommendation badge as Best Sport Bar.

Restaurant Guru says it has over 30 million monthly users and customers can place reviews and ratings of restaurants and bars on the website.

The award comes as Fergie's prepares for the Tullamore Republic of Ireland Soccer Supporters' Club annual charity night this evening (Friday, December 2) where the special guests are Steve Staunton and Athlone Town women's team captain Laurie Ryan.

Funds from the night will go to Accessible Counselling Tullamore and the Robbie Moore Benefit Fund.
