Ciara has strong domestic and international retail banking, investment, and insurance experience in AIB, Goodbody and M&T Bank in the US.

Adrian Moynihan has been appointed as Head of Consumer. He will lead the strategy for AIB’s branch network and customer contact centres, as well as responsibility for meeting the everyday banking needs of our three million retail customers in Ireland. Adrian has over 20 years’ experience in financial services in Ireland and the UK with AIB, holding leadership roles in retail, business and corporate banking, wealth management and transformation.

Commenting on the appointments, AIB’s Managing Director of Retail Banking, Geraldine Casey said, “I am delighted to make these appointments to our key customer facing teams in AIB. Their wealth of experience will be instrumental in ensuring that AIB continues to deliver a step change in meeting the needs of our customers across Ireland.

“I look forward to working with Adrian, Ciara and Olaf to implement tangible customer improvements through the delivery of a broader range of products and services, more simplified processes to make it easier for our customers to bank with us and above all, strengthening AIB’s contribution to the 170 communities in which we have branches across Ireland. We look forward to sharing these improvements with our customers in the coming months.”
