Taste was the big winner in Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré's annual young cook competition this year, where several very talented students battled it out to prove their culinary skills.
Aoibhe McAndrew and Ciara Crofton were the winners and will now proceed to the regional finals in Archerstown next month
Congratulations to all who entered the competition, where the standard was incredibly high.

1.
Part of the criteria for the competition was that two of the ingredients were to be sourced from local producers.

2.
This made students more aware of the value of our local food producers and to support them and about the value of shopping local as much as possible.

3.
“Thank you to Monty and Ms Ormond who judged the competition this year”, Coláiste said.

4.
Pictured are some of the delicious results - which were produced using produce local to Roscrea
