The history, heritage and openness of the Traveller community was on show for all to see at a unique Pride event in Tullamore hosted by the Offaly Traveller Movement.
The Offaly Traveller Movement, supported by the National Action Group for LGBTI+ Traveller and Roma Rights, staged a successful Spoken Word event celebrating the unheard voices of some LGBTI+ Traveller community members at the OTM Hazel Hub in Tullamore on Thursday last.
Stemming from the largest research ever in Ireland on the lived experience of LGBTI+ Traveller & Roma, some research participants shared their voices at the event. Photographer Tom O'Hanlon was on hand to capture the event for Offaly Live.
