The Irish Defence Forces marked the 100-year anniversary of the Transport Corps in a special event held at the Curragh Camp in Co Kildare on Thursday.
Celebrating the men and women of the Transport Corps who have served the Defence Forces, the State and wider Irish society with such distinction over the last 100 years, the day commemorated the historical milestone with former and current soldiers, family and friends taking a tour of one of Ireland’s largest military bases.
